Ashgill Falls is an ideal location for ghyll scrambling and gorge walking.

You can Abseil down Ashgill Force waterfall, jump into deep water pools, scrambling and sliding the shallow areas between them before finishing up with a challenging climb up a waterfall.

This is an exhilarating experience for anyone no matter how old you are and is an exciting day out.

Local mine systems are used such as Tyne Bottom and Smallcleugh mines. Trips into these mines can be tailored to suit your sense of adventure (anything from 1 to 4 hours underground!).

We use highly experienced leaders who can offer a great wealth of knowledge.

The mines are close to Ashgill where we also do gorge walking, so why not make a day of it... mining in the morning and gorge walking in the afternoon!
