Broomley Grange has been a venue for groups of all ages for nearly 50 years. The site opened in 1977.
We can provide accommodation, with suitable classroom or conference facilities as well camping within the extensive and beautiful grounds. We also have basic but functional campsite toilets and shower rooms and also outdoor sinks for that all important clean up after the overnight camp.
We enjoy working with a wide range of groups and are always happy to work closely with you to provide a package that suits. Packages can also deliver awards such as John Muir, D of E and NNAS.
Groups get a lot out of their stay at Broomley Grange. We encourage individuals to gain self awareness and self respect, whilst working together as a team as well as a night under the Northumberland Dark Skies as even here at Broomley Grange we are right on the edge of the best Dark Skies in Europe looking, North and south to the North Pennines National Landscape Dark Skies.
Some of the groups that have used Broomley Grange are The Prince's Trust, Salvation Army, Viability Group, Newcastle Youth Services, Sunderland Phoenix Project, Cycle touring groups with schools, Military Veteran Groups and women specific weekend festival mental health wellbeing type festivals.
